What we build

We build custom WordPress business websites, either with Elementor or with a native block theme edited in the Site Editor, depending on who will update the site and how much layout freedom they need. Every build starts from an agreed design, usually a Figma file, and is coded to be responsive, accessible and light. Technical SEO is set up during the build rather than bolted on later, so titles, headings, sitemaps and structured data are in place on launch day. The same work applies to existing sites: we redesign dated WordPress sites and fix slow ones without losing the pages that already bring in visitors.

Figma to WordPress

Designs are rebuilt faithfully as reusable templates, global colours and typography, so new pages match the design without a developer.

Core Web Vitals work

We measure LCP, INP and CLS with PageSpeed Insights and Search Console field data, then fix images, fonts, scripts and caching.

Technical SEO foundations

Clean URLs, one H1 per page, XML sitemap, robots rules, canonical tags, redirects and schema markup configured before launch.

Security and care

Hardened logins, least-privilege user roles, off-site backups, and scheduled core, theme and plugin updates tested before they go live.

Common site problems

A slow or dated WordPress site rarely needs to be thrown away. It usually suffers from a handful of repeat problems: heavy page builders loaded with unused add-ons, oversized images, too many plugins doing overlapping jobs, and themes that were never meant for mobile. These issues hurt visitors first and rankings second. Our guide to SEO website design basics explains why structure matters, and below is what we typically find and fix.

How we work

Every project, new build or redesign, follows the same six steps so you always know what happens next.

  1. Free review. We look at your current site or brief, run speed and crawl checks, and send back a plain summary of what needs building or fixing before any quote.
  2. Scope and sitemap. We agree the pages, features, integrations and content responsibilities in writing, so the build has a fixed target and nothing important is left to assumption.
  3. Design handoff. We work from your Figma file or create one with our Figma UI/UX design service, and you approve desktop and mobile layouts before development starts.
  4. Build on staging. The site is developed on a private staging copy, with templates, forms, SEO settings and analytics configured so you can review real pages, not screenshots.
  5. Test and launch. We test on real phones and browsers, check speed and accessibility, map redirects from old URLs, then go live and submit the sitemap to Search Console.
  6. Handover and care. You get an editor walkthrough and admin access; optional ongoing maintenance covers updates, backups, uptime checks and small content changes.

Popular questions

Straight answers to the questions business owners ask most before starting a WordPress build, a redesign or a speed fix. If yours is not here, email contact@softlearnhub.com.

Should my site use Elementor or a block theme?

It depends on who edits the site. Elementor suits teams who want drag-and-drop control over every section. A block theme uses the WordPress Site Editor, loads less code by default and keeps you closer to core WordPress. We recommend one after the review, based on your design, your editors and how fast the pages need to be.

Usually, yes. We start by measuring real-user Core Web Vitals in Search Console and lab results in PageSpeed Insights, then work on the biggest causes: oversized images, render-blocking scripts, unused plugins, missing caching and slow hosting. If the theme itself is the bottleneck, we will tell you plainly and explain the options.

A redesign is risky only when URLs, content or internal links change without a plan. We crawl your current site first, keep pages that earn traffic, map every changed URL to a 301 redirect, carry over titles and descriptions, and resubmit the sitemap at launch. For the wider picture, read our technical SEO basics guide.

We do not resell hosting. Instead we help you choose a reputable managed WordPress host that fits your traffic and budget, open the account in your name, and handle DNS, SSL and migration. That way you own the hosting, domain and site files outright and are never locked in to us.

Maintenance covers updating WordPress core, themes and plugins after checking them on staging, daily or weekly off-site backups, uptime and security monitoring, and small content changes. It is optional and agreed separately after launch. If you prefer to manage the site yourself, we hand over full admin access and a short written guide.
