Fix what stops search engines and AI assistants from finding, understanding and citing your pages, then build content worth ranking.
What we cover
Search now has two audiences: the classic results page and AI answers in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Both depend on the same foundations: pages that can be crawled, indexed and clearly understood. We start with the technical layer, then improve the content people actually read, and finally make each page easy for AI systems to quote accurately. Every recommendation is tied to official guidance from Google Search Central and Bing Webmaster Tools, not to tricks. If you want the background first, read our guide to generative engine optimization.
Technical SEO audits
Crawlability, indexing, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, robots.txt and Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) checked against Search Console and real page data.
On-page and content SEO
Titles, headings, internal links and page copy rewritten around what searchers need, with clear answers near the top of each page.
Local SEO
Google Business Profile setup and upkeep, consistent business details, LocalBusiness schema and location pages that serve real customers, not doorway pages.
GEO and AI search
Structured data, quotable answer blocks, crawler access for search bots, Bing Webmaster Tools and an optional llms.txt file, each set up deliberately.
Common problems we fix
Most sites that struggle in search are not short of content. They have pages Google never indexes, templates that load slowly on phones, duplicate URLs splitting signals, or schema that does not match what is on the page. Others rank on Google but rarely appear in AI answers, often because Bing has not indexed them or key facts are buried in long paragraphs. We find the specific causes on your site first, because fixing the wrong thing wastes months. Our article on what a real SEO audit should include explains the checks.
- Crawl and index
- Pages crawled but not indexed
- Duplicate URLs without canonicals
- Broken redirects and redirect chains
- Sitemaps listing blocked or dead URLs
- Speed and experience
- Slow LCP on mobile templates
- Poor INP from heavy scripts
- Layout shifts from ads and images
- Oversized images and unused CSS
- Content and AI visibility
- Thin or overlapping pages
- Schema that contradicts page content
- Key pages missing from Bing's index
- Answers buried deep in paragraphs
How we work
Each engagement follows the same order, so the biggest blockers are fixed before anything else.
- Free review. We look at your site, Search Console access if you share it, and your goals, then tell you plainly whether SEO is the right investment now.
- Technical audit. A full crawl plus Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools data, producing a prioritised issue list ranked by likely impact and effort, not a long automated report.
- Fixes and foundations. We implement or hand over fixes for indexing, speed, internal links and structured data, then validate them with the Rich Results Test and URL Inspection.
- Content and GEO. We improve priority pages with direct answers, clear headings, author details and accurate schema, so both searchers and AI systems can understand and quote them.
- Measure and adjust. Monthly reporting on impressions, clicks, indexed pages and AI referrals, with the next priorities agreed together. Expect meaningful movement over months, not weeks.

You can take on the full programme or just the audit and implement the fixes with your own team.
Popular questions
Straight answers to the questions people ask most before starting SEO or GEO work. If yours is not here, email contact@softlearnhub.com or use our contact page.

How long does SEO take to show results?
Technical fixes such as unblocking pages or correcting canonicals can show up in Search Console within weeks, once Google recrawls the affected URLs. Ranking and traffic gains from content and authority usually take several months, and depend on competition and how often your site is crawled. Anyone promising first-page rankings by a date is guessing, so we report progress against agreed measures instead.
What is GEO and how is it different from SEO?
Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the work of making your pages easy for AI search tools such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Copilot to find and cite. It builds on SEO rather than replacing it: pages still need to be indexed and trustworthy. GEO adds attention to Bing indexing, crawler access, concise answer passages and structured data that matches the page.
Do I need an llms.txt file?
llms.txt is a proposed convention, not an official standard, and Google states that no special AI text files are needed to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode. Some AI tools may read it, so we can add a short, accurate file that points to your key pages. It costs little to maintain, but we treat it as optional and never as a replacement for indexable, well-structured pages.
What does a technical SEO audit check?
We check how search engines crawl and index the site: robots.txt, XML sitemaps, status codes, redirects, canonical tags, duplicate content, internal linking, mobile rendering, Core Web Vitals and structured data validity. Findings come from a full crawl combined with Search Console data, then ranked by impact so your developers know exactly what to fix first. Our technical SEO basics guide covers several of these.
Will SEO still matter if I run Google Ads?
Yes, they do different jobs. Ads buy visibility immediately and stop when the budget stops, while organic rankings keep working once earned. Ads do not improve organic rankings, but search term data from campaigns can show which topics convert and deserve content. Many businesses run both; see our Google Ads management service if paid search is also on your list.
